My squishy brand new baby is 10 months old!
It feels almost wrong not being anxious about his monthly weight check. Although, not having another check until he is a year old, makes it easy to not feel anxious. I am curious as to what he weighs now. He seems so much bigger, heavier and older.
He loves freaking me out by standing unassisted. Usually doing his silly, 'he he he' laugh the whole time. Today he stood for almost 2 minutes. Wobbling and catching himself. Sadly, I don't think it will be long before he takes more steps.
After travelling to several different shoes stores (every single shoe store) we were forced to go to Kiddy Kobbler (we normally avoid Kiddy Kobbler at all costs as we find them over priced. You can usually find the same shoe else where for half of what they are asking.) to have him fitted for some proper shoes. The cute little ADIDAS runner he had were way too small and I felt really bad forcing his feet into them. His Yoda Robeez were on the cusp of too small and could only be worn without socks. Plus, nether were great choices for wearing while walking or cruising outside.
Thankfully Kiddy Kobbler had exactly what we were looking for and as a bonus, the shoes were on sale! Oh, how I love sales! I even spotted some Crocs for infants, which I may have to go back for.
Zacharey ended up with a cute pair of Stride Rites in a much bigger size than I was expecting (3.5). He still needs to get used to standing and cruising around in them. They are his first pair of 'real' shoes after all.
He has taken a strong liking to all foods and will pretty much eat anything he can get his chubby little hands on. He also has a brand new tooth to help him chomp on new foods. This brings his total to 4 teeth (as of today)
His favourite activities are swimming, chasing a ball and driving toy cars on the couch and carpet (while making car noises) and playgroup. This boy has more personality than most people have in their pinky fingernail.
